Lykos (altgriechisch Λύκος LΓ½kos, deutsch β€šWolfβ€˜) ist eine Gestalt der griechischen Mythologie.

Er ist der Sohn des Prometheus mit der Kelaino und Bruder des Chimaireus.

Wie sein Bruder war Lykos in Troja bestattet. WΓ€hrend einer Pest in Sparta erteilte ein Orakel die Weisung, ein edler Lakedaimonier mΓΌsse auf den GrΓ€bern der BrΓΌder ein Opfer bringen, um die Pest zu beenden. Daraufhin reiste Menelaos nach Troja, vollzog die Opfer und war wΓ€hrend dieser Zeit Gastfreund des Paris – eine Gastfreundschaft, die den Trojanischen Krieg auslΓΆsen sollte.
